The work was done very professionally and carefully. Moving furniture, lifting carpets and floorboards, and cutting into plaster to accommodate new wiring was carried out with minimum disruption. Everything was put back tidily. Apart from the inevitable loss of power when upgrading the Distribution Board, we were not inconvenienced in any way. Very diligent and tidy, especially as a rewire requires cutting channels in plasterwork. Dust and disturbance were kept to an absolute minimum. The timekeeping was excellent. We discovered, by chance, that the original electrical installation to our pond was unsafe through a lack of Residual Current Devices. Graham recommended the replacement of the entire board, complete with RCDs and Surge Protection. Graham then identified and labelled each circuit the board covered. He could not have been more thorough and spent some time trying to locate a single circuit before discovering it was responsible for a single over-counter light! Our knowledge of electrics is virtually nil, but we are now confident that all is sorted, so much so that Graham is quoting us for more work. - Stephen Price.
